2023 Hyundai Santa Fe

There are five trim levels available for the new Santa Fe, and they each have unique exterior features you'll want to consider before deciding which is the best fit for your needs. The standard SE trim is already quite impressive with 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and LED headlights. Upgrade to the SEL, and you'll find roof rails, puddle lights, and heated side mirrors.

At the XRT trim level, the primary feature is that the vehicle looks a bit more rugged compared to the SEL with a black exterior finish, skid plates, and side steps. Plus, the wheels have a darker tone along with the mirror caps, grille, and door handles. The Limited trim, on the other hand, upgrades to 19-inch wheels and power-folding exterior mirrors. The Calligraphy is the top-of-the-line model and boasts 20-inch wheels and unique branding.

The Santa Fe has two engine options, with the base-level engine being restricted to the first three trim levels and the upgraded engine coming with the final two trim levels. At the base level, the Santa Fe sports a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that offers 191 horsepower with 181 pound-feet of torque. The upgraded engine adds a powerful turbocharger, which increases the horsepower to 281 and upgrades the torque to 311 pound-feet.

Quite a few enhanced performance options are available with the Santa Fe, such as a 3,500-pound towing capacity when properly equipped. Even with the standard engine, however, you still get a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 pounds. Additionally, you can take your Santa Fe off-road with confidence thanks to the available HTRAC All Wheel Drive system that offers exceptional control on rough terrain.

Inside the Santa Fe, you'll find a comfortable interior packed full of advanced technology that makes the driving experience more enjoyable and easier. The available high-resolution 10.25-inch touchscreen is especially useful when it comes to both entertainment and navigation. Plus, you can opt for heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and a head-up display that puts valuable information right on the windshield within your line of sight.

No vehicle is worth much without some high-tech safety features, and the new Santa Fe has an entire suite of driver assistance features for you. Forward collision warning with automated emergency braking is standard, along with adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology.
