The designers at Hyundai have put a lot of work into giving the 2020 Hyundai Palisade notable visual appeal. This mid-size SUV features chrome highlights that emphasize the front grill, the side windows, and the front and rear bumpers. The stylish LED-halogen headlights suitably complement the massive chrome front grille bearing the distinctive Hyundai logo.

Let’s take a look at this new and expansive Hyundai Palisade to see how it suits you.

Trim Levels (Exterior)

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade is available in four trim levels; SE front-wheel drive, SE all-wheel drive, SEL front-wheel drive, and SEL all-wheel drive.  All trim levels come in five colors: black noir pearl, cream white pearl, hyper white, lagoon silver, moonlight cloud, rainforest gray, sierra burgundy, and steel graphite.

Standard exterior features at all trim levels include chrome trim on the side windows, automatic sunroof, and 18-inch chrome wheels.

Engine Power (Power)

All trim levels of the 2020 Hyundai Palisade come with a 3.8-liter V-6 petrol engine capable of producing up to 291 horsepower and 263 pound-feet of torque. This V-6 engine connects to an 8-speed automatic, continuously variable transmission to give a powertrain that can handle a wide array of driving conditions.

The push-button gear transmission and terrain select dial allow you to seamlessly transition between wet tarmac, loose gravel, muddy tracks, sandy paths, and any other terrain. The 2020 Hyundai Palisade will, therefore, not disappoint anyone looking for an SUV with ample terrain versatility.

Performance

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade can seat up to eight passengers. Access to the third row is super easy through the use of a one-touch auto-slide mechanism under the second-row seats.

This SUV can carry up to 18 cubic feet of cargo. You can fold back the third and second-row seats to avail 45 and 86 cubic feet of cargo storage space, respectively. In addition to standard storage, the 2020 Hyundai also features under-floor storage located below the boot area.

Fuel efficiency for the 2020 Hyundai Palisade is commendable for a mid-size SUV. The SE and SEL front-wheel trims both avail 22 mpg on both city and open roads. The efficiency is 21 mpg for the SE and SEL all-wheel-drive versions.

Interior

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade interior features a nicely outfitted cabin with black woven-cloth trim on all three rows of seats. Comfy second-row captain’s chairs come standard in the SE and SEL all-wheel trim levels. The SE and SE front-wheel trim versions, on the other hand, feature a three-person seat on the second and third rows.

Buttons located on the steering wheel allow you to make and receive voice calls, adjust audio levels, and select the mode on the control console. The 10.2-inch LCD touch screen display control, standard on all trim levels, supports both android-auto and apple-car.  You can, therefore, connect your phone to the console in addition to charging it in any one of the seven USB ports located throughout the cabin.

Safety Features

Installing the optional 360-degree camera system grants you an all-round view of your vehicle’s surroundings. The camera system enhances the capabilities of the lane, parking, and collision assistants. The Palisade also comes with front, side, overhead, and knee airbags. In this manner, the 2020 Hyundai Palisade provides optimal safety for all its occupants.
